And for those who haven’t … well, now you can make it yourself. Tal has just launched her second cookbook, Feast with Sababa … a delicious celebration of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes.
Think Labneh loaded with olives and pine nuts, parsley, chilli and lemon; fried cauliflower with Tahnia sauce; sweet potato and butternut risotto with sage butter. The recipes are easy to follow and there’s something for everyday meals as well as a celebratory dinner party. Jacana Media, R310.
