How To Get The Most Out Of Your Self Tan
If you haven’t yet discovered the difference exfoliating makes to your skin, now’s the time! It makes a huge difference to your skin’s appearance and touch, and is an essential step in the process of getting your at-home tan on.
Dry scrub first
We recommend a dry scrub before you get into the shower. Use a dry brush or a glove, and rub yourself down firmly (but not with too much force) making small circles over the surface of your skin.
In the shower (preferably before the taps are on) use Caribbeantan Cinnamon and Coconut Scrub all over your body, giving dry areas (knees, elbows, ankles) extra attention. Rinse off and complete your shower ritual as per use.
If you shaved after exfoliating, this is especially NB. Cover yourself with your fave moisturizing cream (unsurprisingly, we recommend our Milk & Honey lotion for supremely soft skin) and then relax for a bit.
Hawt tip: It’s important to give your skin some time to breathe after exfoliating, shaving, and moisturizing. Wait at least 6 hours before using your chosen tanning product for best results.
